In which we have a very good day at the thrift shop

I had told myself no new chairs, but this one just had to come home with us.  I think the back of it wants to take flight.  Oh!  I forgot to take a picture of the back of the back.  It has this lovely handle on across it.  Next time.

I couldn't not get this book.  Just last week I booked campsites at the Valley of the Rogue State Park in Grants Pass, Oregon.  I'd never even heard of the Rogue River before.  And now I know all about it (from Zane Grey's manifest destiny/pulp Western perspective).

I have a thing for western shirts.  These look brand new.  That one on top has satin piping and silver decorative stitching!
