So, why is it that I can lay down on the bed with the boy and he will nurse but not fall asleep? He will almost always happily drift off when I'm sitting down, but when he's on my lap, I can't quietly creep away and leave him to work on a project with his sister.
He looks pretty content there in his bouncy chair, at least.

Ah...he can feel that he is going to miss something quite special.
Sometimes I thought my littlest could sense the excitement and love that the oldest and I were sharing in our planning stage. Look how alert he is in the bouncy chair!!! I think he's feelin' it.
Btw, can we know what she is cutting out?!
