I suppose I should confess that the lack of recent blog posts and the rediscovery of Facebook are not mutually exclusive.

One line status updates with Facebook's iPhone app are infinitely more conducive to sharing.  Plus, the mental challenge of writing everything in the third person keeps me on my toes.

Just in case you hadn't noticed, it's October!  Only the best month ever - my birthday (I like cake!, brisk(er) weather, and, even though I haven't managed to finish a single project this year, the creation of Mini-Pear's Halloween costume.  Last year, D'anjou's birth was a convenient excuse to keep things simple with leopard print pyjamas and facepaint, but this year I am being urged to top 2007's Award Winning Unicorn costume.  There are blanks to tie-dye and the construction of ears and tails to be considered, not to mention the addition of a toddler sized version, because pre-verbal siblings are the most accommodating of side-kicks.

Hmmm, not so accommodating when it comes to updating one's blog.  Huzzah for the 25 minute nap!  At least I got to eat lunch unmolested;)

I had a "break" from blogging that lasted months and months....you were putting me to shame and with a toddler no less!! I'm back now and find myself on Facebook a whole lot less...oh, well...I do like blogging and have missed it. Most of the people who are my friends on FB I see on a reg basis....like you! :)

Bring on the costumes!! Can't wait to see them :) We (E and A) will be Cats this year. A-Growl Tiger from CATS and E, a siamese...if you please...meow. :)
